Everyone seems to have a web page these days, so I thought "what the hey... I can say 'me too' with the best of 'em"... So I decided to put up a few things about myself, a photo when I can get one scanned, a way to e-mail me, a few links to some sites I find interesting, and maybe an article or two that I might care to write when I get the urge (and the time).
Also, I'd appreciate it if you'd take a moment to sign my guestbook.
You can choose from the following links, or read on for my general backgouind.

Hi, my name is Darrell Pittman.
After two-and-a-half enjoyable years in Wisconsin, I've made it back to my native country, Texas.
Just to make sure that I'd notice the difference, Providence saw to it that I'd come back to live in a beach house on the West Beach of Galveston Island. It can't get much more different from Wisconsin than this :-)
I'm 40, happily divorced, and the proud father of two young sons... Barrett (12) and Matthew (10).
My sons and I enjoying a glorious Texas Spring day amid the bluebonnets near La Grange.
Matthew is on the left, Barrett is on the right.
This is a view of "my" beach, Bermuda Beach on Galveston Island, Texas.
The picture was taken in December 1998.

I was a hard-working middle-relief pitcher for the Houston Astros from 1994-98.
Just kidding... the picture above is a computer-generated fake. Ah well, it was and still is a fantasy of mine.
Barrett and I at Space Center Houston, circa 1994.
This was the day he landed the Space Shuttle Simulator flawlessly at the age of 6...
most of us middle-aged guys couldn't even land it at all.
My beard was much bushier back then, but had no grey in it :-)
